Second Annual FWD Pharma Virtual Conference Focuses on Digital Disruption

August 31 - September 1, 2020 - Virtual Format

The second annual FWD Pharma is designed to position professionals in the biotech, life sciences, and pharmaceutical industries for success. The three-day, forward-thinking virtual event will educate industry executives on how their organizations can benefit from digital technologies that are reducing costs, improving understanding of market dynamics and strengthening customer loyalty. Hosted by the Lincoln Health Network, the FWD Pharma virtual event is set for Aug. 3–Sept. 1, 2020.

Digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud-based platforms and 3D printing, have improved business processes in many industries. And their application in the life sciences and related industries is proceeding at a rapid pace. Organizations that ignore that trend risk becoming obsolete. Digital technologies can improve the efficiency of commercial activities as well as amplify marketing communications through omni-channel engagements, campaign analytics and overall marketing automation. The second annual FWD Pharma virtual event focuses on making these essential technologies accessible to the people and organizations who need them.

This premier event will encompass a wide range of presentations, interactive panels, case studies and hands-on workshops as well as offer invaluable opportunities for peer-to-peer learning. A knowledgeable faculty, consisting of more than 45 industry leaders, will be on hand to guide participants, helping them build truly comprehensive and data-driven, digital customer journeys. The latest digital trends shaping the life-sciences landscape will be examined with an emphasis on how they are affecting specific business segments. Attendees can expect all-day seminars with tracks that explore the use of digital technologies in production, operations and marketing. Attendees will also enjoy ample opportunities to engage faculty members in one-on-ones as well as participate in live Q&As after each session.

Thought leaders scheduled to address attendees include Omar Khateeb, Nick Lucente, Lily Yan and Tarak Shah. Khateeb is director of growth at Potrero Medical. He has developed marketing strategies at two publicly traded surgical robotic companies as they went public and is co-founder of a successful men’s fashion line. Lucente is consumer and digital marketing director at global pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca. Yan is also at AstraZenca, serving as marketing associate director, while Tarak Shah is sssociate director at biopharmaceutical company Amgen.

The second annual FWD Pharma virtual event is expected to attract professionals from brand and product management, digital engagement, content marketing, regulatory affairs and a host of other business functions.
