The eleventh edition of FinovateEurope takes place Feb. 9–11, 2021, at the InterContinental Berlin Hotel in Berlin, Germany. The setting in Germany’s capital city marks the second time the premiere conference takes place in continental Europe. The FinovateEurope series was inaugurated in 2011, with the first nine conferences held in London. The switch in locale reflects fintech’s spread throughout Europe. The continent is rivaling the United States in innovation and outpacing it in fintech adoption.
The FinovateEurope conference series provides a platform where real-world fintech applications can be displayed as well as a forum where innovators, investors and others can mingle, exchange ideas and collaborate. Over 50 fintech start-ups are slated to demo their prototypes and proof-of-concept models to the more than 1,000 senior industry professionals expected to attend. Presentations will kick off with a talk by Nicolai Schattgen, founder and CEO of Match-Maker Ventures, on the platform economy. In all, some 150 influential figures from diverse backgrounds in the fintech space are slated to address the assembly on the latest burning issues.
The three-day event will offer the best of Europe’s fintech through unique, short-form demos, as well as shed light on how fintech is disrupting banking services, payments, insurance and much more. FinovateEurope 2021 promises to be an invaluable resource for fintech professionals.
