Fear, Greed and the Evolution of Money is a one-day, completely virtual conference designed to provide a platform where leading thinkers on Wall Street and in government, artificial intelligence and crypto can discuss the current state of digital technologies and discern, perhaps, what lies in the future. The unique on-the-internet gathering features some of the best-known protagonists on the fintech stage, including Brock Pierce, Nick Spanos, Vinny Lingham, Tron Black, Miko Matsumura and Gokhshtein.
Pierce is chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation and the Integro Foundation. Spanos is a co-founder of the Bitcoin Center NYC, the first physical Bitcoin exchange, which has been sitting next to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Wall Street since 2013. Lingham is a serial South African entrepreneur and the driving force behind many start-ups, including Civic, Gyft and Yola. Black is a crypto developer, entrepreneur and founder of two start-ups. Matsumura is the founder of crypto exchange Evercoin and an investor in a number of crypto projects. Gokhshtein is a highly regarded crypto crusader and media maven.
This inaugural conference will focus on the COVID_19 global pandemic, global markets and manipulation, and how cryptocurrency is perfectly positioned to succeed as a global currency. Presentations will examine the history and evolution of money and the role that human emotions play in setting value. Organizers of the virtual conference believe the coronavirus will trigger a global financial crisis and catalyze the genesis of a new global order.
