CoinGenius and the Bad Crypto Podcast are partnering together to present NFT Day, an informative event focusing on the history, creation and implementation of non-fungible tokens and digital collectibles. Hosted by Joel Comm and Travis Wright of the Bad Crypto Podcast, the completely virtual event will feature addresses by leading figures in the NFT space, including Jeremy Born, founder and CEO of CoinGenius.
Non-fungible tokens are one-of-a-kind crypto assets with unique characteristics, rather like the individual playing cards in a pack. This property makes these tokens rare and potentially valuable. A recent sale of some 125,000 NFT trading cards featuring images of William Shatner, most notably in his incarnation as Captain Kirk, sold out in minutes on the Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX).
The NFT Day virtual meet-up turns the focus on this novel space. Participants will learn how NFTs are the portal to a vast new industry that is unlocking trillions of dollars in value for organizations, athletes, artists and other celebrities, à la Shatner. NFTs can be designed to generate a royalty payment to the creator or host every time they are resold. Participants also stand to benefit from an airdrop of crypto. WAX is giving out thousands of dollars’ worth of NFTs. Additionally, there will be low-tick-price raffles for rare pieces. And naturally, there will be opportunities galore for networking.
Featured speakers include William Quigley, co-founder of WAX; Tobin Lent, GM of Digital at the Topps Company; Jodee Rich, CEO of PeopleBrowsr & Kred; Duncan Cock Foster, founder of Nifty Gateway; and Devin Finzer, co-founder and CEO of Open Sea.
Participants can sign up now for a chance to win free, rare collectible NFTs from companies such as Topps, WAX, SuperRare, Nifty Gateway Blockchain Heroes, Dapper Labs and more at https://media.coingenius.ai/nft-day/.
