The online symposium Women in Psychedelics takes place on Wednesday December 2, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. EST. The virtual event, hosted by award-winning cannabis marketing and PR firm Marigold and cannabis lifestyle brand Canndora, will feature panels with industry leaders discussing developments in the nascent psychedelics sector. Attending company representatives will have one minute to speak about their collaboration goals and promote their company on “attendee spotlight.” The two-hour event will conclude with a 20-minute networking session that allows attendees an opportunity to meet and engage with those working in and interested in the psychedelics space. Canndora’s mission is to identify, support and engage with women entrepreneurs in emerging industries. The online event is expected to attract a diverse cross-section of participants. Organizers are reminding prospective participants to reserve their places. Spaces are limited to ensure valuable networking.
The Women in Psychedelics agenda promises to be entertaining, educational and enlightening. A number of industry experts, including Irie Selkirk and Ann Barnes, will explore the developing psychedelics frontier in discussion. Ms. Selkirk is a co-founder and Director of Rise Wellness Retreat in Jamaica, an outfit that provides psilocybin experiences. She is also Chief Communications Officer for SheCann Cannabis – a female focused medical cannabis advocacy group. Ms. Barnes, an attorney by training, is CEO of Edica Naturals. a female focused health supplement company. She is also a director of Red Light Holland, an Ontario-based corporation that plans to market legally allowed “magic truffles” in the Netherlands. Other sessions will focus on psilocybin, one of the “active ingredients” of magic truffles.
