The Cannabis Drinks Expo will combine policy education and industry optimism for a day in the City by the Bay this summer to discuss the potential of cannabis infusion to provide a market boost for beer and wine products as alcoholic beverages continue to weather a trending decline in sales. The expo will introduce drinks producers, manufacturers, brand owners, distilleries and brewers to ways they can collaboratively work together to make cannabis a revenue-enhancing element of their product profile. Experts will weigh in on how the adult-use edibles market has become legal in select states such as California and Alaska and may become legal elsewhere, opening the door to the possibility of infusing beverages with cannabis products. The expo is a trade show only with no cannabis products sold on site. It will take place July 25, 2019 at the South San Francisco Conference Center, launching with keynote speakers and panel discussions before moving on to specialized topics in the day’s session rooms.
