Untraceable’s third annual Futurist Conference gets underway for two exciting days this fall. Set for Nov. 11–12, the event, with its animating displays of the latest digital technologies and opportunities galore to network, promises to be an electrifying experience. The Futurist Conference series, the largest blockchain and digital technologies events in Canada, gathers thousands of professionals, enthusiasts, executives and investors alike from around the world. These events have become important forums to foster discussion on emerging technologies, such as blockchain, that are changing society in myriad ways. This year, conference goers will have the best of two worlds: they will be able to participate in the immersive, action-packed virtual event while preserving comfort and safety by remaining at home.
Lead sponsors of the third annual Futurist Conference include Brave, providers of the free, open-source web browser of the same name, and Game Credits, which creates decentralized tools and services for the esports and NFT industries. Gamification will be an integral aspect of this year’s event. Attendees will receive a limited-edition, one-of-a-kind digital Non-Fungible Token (NFT) badge. They will also have many opportunities to win free cryptocurrency and other prizes by taking part in event games, such as a scavenger hunt across the internet. Event speakers will include Bitcoin.com founder and well-known Bitcoin advocate Roger Ver; Charlie Shrem, chairman of CoinDesk; Michael Casey, CEO of eGovern; Alexia Hefti, Streambed CEO; Jenna Pilgrim and Tracy Leparulo, founder and CEO respectively of event organizer Untraceable.
