The 6th Annual New England Cannabis Convention (NECANN) is set to bring the bud to Boston’s Hynes Convention Center, where legalized cannabidiol (CBD) products and seeds will be available for sale as part of a larger forum on the cannabis plant’s potential within the health and wellness market over the course of three days, March 20-22. Although the event celebrates the legalization of marijuana in Massachusetts for people 21 and older, no tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) cannabis products will be displayed or sold at the convention as NECANN focuses its collaborative approach to industry innovation on upholding exhibitors, sponsors and attendees across all sectors of the cannabis space. In 2019, NECANN Boston drew more than 10,000 attendees, 300 exhibitors and 100 speakers; 2020’s event anticipates continuing to raise the bar with high-value programming on careers, investment, medical marijuana education and cultivation science. The conference provides unparalleled access to business networking within the New England cannabis sector. It also offers additional workshop insights on everything from taking a product from seed to sale, to navigating the protocols surrounding licensing under a Host Community Agreement.
